I was talking about the Leisure Lakes near me on my Tank thread and how I was going to look the paintball site over today while there with the tank.
Anyway tank went down well at the show and the paint ball guy wanted to buy it.
Anyway I looked the site over he has a number of old land rovers APC's and a stalwart in the woods.
A few bridges and rivers to cross, he said he has about 70 acres. He also told me he has ran a 250 player airsoft game there in the past.

I also had a look at the laser tag guns apparently they have the range of our sniper rifles but full auto with sound effects and a scoring system, but in terms of WW2 looks naf.
His walk on charges are £25 per person with their own kit he is willing to hire out part or all of the site, but he normally has 150 players visit each day at the weekend, so to hire the full site would take £3750.
There is some good money to be made in running a site hey!

I have had an other look at this today Monday and comparing the paintball site and the place I was looking at they are about the same size 30 acres maybe 40 at the most. I have chaged the above multi-map link so it is the same as the one of Rainford where I was looking here.

Sounds good Nigel, I live in Cheshire, so its a given i would be there mate! 
He said if a few of us say 10 turn up he can give us a section of the site to play in but I am not sure for how long and it could be a £25 walk on charge, just to use maybe 10 acres of the site.
So my feelings are all or nothing in that respect.

Gotta agree with JD, the site looks superb 
I am going to sneak my Jeep and tank down there soon and make a video.
I need some of that green screen software so I can paste a load of troops into the woods around the tank.
I need to drive around the local farms and see if they lay any claim to the vast part of it.
As I have said that woman owns 1/3 the bit with the shafts and hanger thing.
I think she would rent it out as what has she got to lose.
Those buildings are still quite sound its only the joist over the entrance that has got rotten.
